The goal of enterprise on the condition of the market economy is gaining profit.In order to carry his point,reducing the cost of products is the only way.The enterprise should reduce the cost of products from all kinds of degree.The importance of controlling the cost of products was summarized in this paper.Combining with products design and technology management,the means of controlling the cost of products were discussed.
