摘要
主位结构理论是布拉格学派将信息理论运用于语言学研究领域的成果,是系统功能语言学语篇纯理功能的一个重要组成部分。该学派创始人韩礼德根据语气区分了标记主位和无标记主位,本文着重分析作为信息重组重要手段的英语标记主位的文体、语义及语篇功能,及其对英语教学的启示。
The theory of thematic structure is the result of applying information theory by the Prague School to the field of linguistic study and is an essential component of the textual matafunction in systemic functional linguistics.Halliday,the founder of systemic functional linguistics,distinguishes between marked theme and unmarked theme according to mood when he studies the thematic structure.This paper focuses on the stylistic,semantic as well as the textual functions of marked theme,an important means of reorganizing information and its implication to English teaching.
