摘要
《长夜漫漫路迢迢》是尤金·奥尼尔的自传性作品,剧中人物是作者家人的呈现,表露出作者惊人的大胆与坦荡。在剧中每一个人物身上,都体现出灵魂深处的另一个自我。本文对剧中的4个主要角色进行了分析,并探究雾、海、日光等意象在强化人物精神表现方面所起的重要作用。
Long Day s Journey into Night is an autobiographical work of Eugene O Neill and the prototypes of the characters in the play are his family members.Every character reflects another ego inside his soul.The paper makes an analysis on four main characters and inquires into the important role of symbolic images in performing their spirits.
