摘要
副词"究竟"在现代汉语中使用频率很高,但该词最初并不是副词。本文从汉语发展史的角度梳理了"究竟"一词的历史发展源流。
Though the adverb ＂jiujing（究竟）＂ being used frequently in modern Chinese,it did not act as an adverb at beginning.In the paper,the author makes a review on the development of this word from the history of Chinese language.
