《诗经》写到"裘"的共有9首,《诗经》中的这些"裘"既是蔽体、保暖之衣,又是身份、地位之象征,还是文化人格之体现。以裘为衣是对上古衣皮风俗的继承;裘为身份、地位之象征,其成因则可追溯到图腾崇拜;羔羊比德,"羔裘豹饰",则是一种刚柔相济的文化人格的体现。

In The Book of Songs, there are nine poems which write about Qiu. It is not only a piece of clothing, a symbol of status, but also a manifestation of a cultural personality. Taking Qiu asclothes is the inheritance of ancient leather clothing custom; the cause why Qiu is a symbol of status can be traced back to Totemism; lamb is a moral metaphor, lamb Qiu decorated with leopard fur is a reflection of the cultural personality combining firmness and flexibility.
