摘要
乳液法制备OMMT(有机蒙脱土)/P(MMA-BA-AA)(甲基丙烯酸甲酯/丙烯酸丁酯/丙烯酸共聚物)复合材料,X射线衍射(XRD)研究表明形成插层型纳米复合材料。考察单体甲基丙烯酸酯(MMA)、丙烯酸丁酯(BA)、丙烯酸(AA)和OMMT用量对OMMT/P(MMA-BA-AA)乳液稳定性能与耐热性的影响。结果表明,当共聚单体MMA,BA,AA的质量比为20.0/4.0/2.0时,所得的P(MMA-BA-AA)耐热性最好;加入OMMT小于10%(质量分数)时,所得的乳液稳定性能与耐热性较好;OMMT/P(MMA-BA-AA)复合材料的起始热分解温度(T_d)和玻璃化转变温度(T_g)比P(MMA-BA-AA)的分别提高了21.5℃和7.3℃;片层状的OMMT在热分解过程中起到阻隔作用延缓P(MMA-BA-AA)高分子支链的分解,从而提高了OMMT/P(MMA-BA-AA)复合材料的T_d。
Composite of organic montmorillonites (OMMT)/poly (methyl methaerylate- butyl acrylate-acrylic acid) [P(MMA-BA-AA)] was prepared by emulsion polymerization. X-ray diffraction (XRD) indicates that intercalated OMMT/P(MMA-BA-AA) nano-composite has formed. The effects of the amount of MMA,BA, AA and OMMT on the emulsion stability and thermal stability of composite were investigated. The results show that when the mass ratio of MMA,BA and AA is 20.0/4.0/2.0, the heat resistance of P(MMA-BA- AA) resin is best. The emulsion of OMMT/P(MMA-BA-AA) can keep steady and the heat resistance of OMMT/P(MMA-BA-AA) composite is better than that of P(MMA-BA-AA) when the mass fraction of OMMT is under 10%. The decomposition temperature (Td) of OMMT/P(MMA-BA-AA) composite is 21.5 ℃ higher than that of P(MMA-BA-AA) and the glass transition temperature (Tg) of OMMT/P (MMA-BA-AA) composite is 7.3℃ higher than that of P(MMA-BA-AA). The layer OMMT can be due to a barrier effect to slow the degradation of branched-chain of P(MMA-BA-AA) during decomposition, which improves Td of OMMT/P(MMA-BA-AA) composite.
