The construction of a large number of river-crossing bridges makes the natural reach turn into the bridge location reach. The fluvial process and channel regulation of bridge location reach has been increasingly focused. Taking Wuqiao location reach as the research object, which is of certain representativeness, the features of its fluvial process are generally summed up and the strategies to regulate the channel are also discussed by the model test. Finally,it is cleared that the optimization scheme can regulate Wuqiao reach reasonably.
