地域文化是民族文化、国家文化甚至人类文明的重要组成部分。在中外文学史上都有很多著名的篇章是关于地域主题的。本文以美国中西部作家舍伍德.安德森和四川作家沙汀的小说创作为例,分析了地域主题在文学创作中的重要意义,地域写作对于发展民族文化,丰富世界文明有重要作用。

Regional culture is an important part of the national culture, or even of the human civilization. Both Chinese and foreign literature histories naver lack well - known geographical theme - based novels. This pa- per, taking novels by Sherwood Anderson, a writer from the central and western United States, and Sha Ding, a writer from Sichuan, China as an example, analyzes the significance of the geographical subjects in literary creation and the important role such writings play in the development of the national culture and in the promotion of the world civilization.
