Peobrazhensky was an economist, a famous statesman in Soviet Union. The New Economics, a polemical essay on the dynamics of an economy in transition to socialism, was his magnum opus. In the book, He discussed the definition,methods and the importance of the law of the socialist primitive accumulation ,analyzed the role of the law of value during the transition period. The author demonstrated the law of the socialist primitive accumulation, provided a number of ideas for economic studies about transition period.
