In the first decade of the 20th century, Willa Cather gradually became popular because of her efforts in depicting the pioneer days. By analyzing her three prairie novels O Pioneers!, My Antonia and A Lost Lady, the present author tries to reveal the internal relations of the three works and Cather s reaction to the changing world.
