网络语境属于典型的非在场语境,其具有的中介性和虚拟性决定了该语境下的网络交际语言有着独有的特点。根据构成方式的不同,网络语言模因则可以分为六大类,而网络交际工具的制约、网络空间的自由性以及交际主体的求新心理都在一定程度上促成了新的语言模因的生成、复制和传播。
