随着时空数据的日益增多和时空GIS重要性的不断增加,新的时空数据模型或模型扩展会被不断开发和提出。介绍了时空数据模型的相关概念及其关系,同时在对当前时空数据模型和已有的分类方法进行归纳和分析的基础上,提出了一种改善的分类方法,此方法能更好解释众多模型间的本质区别。

As the amount of spatiotemporal data is increased on a daily basis and GIS becomes increasingly important, new spatiotemporal data models and their extensions have been continuously proposed and developed. This paper introduces the concepts of spatiotemporal data modeling and their relationships and presents an improved classification method based on the analysis of existing models and classification methods. This improved method can better explain the inherent distinctions between models.
