摘要
20世纪初,雅礼会将湖南长沙作为工作基地,在此开展医疗及相关事业,形成了医学院、医院和护士学校三位一体的医疗体系,在中美医学交流史上扮演了重要角色,推动了湖南医学由传统向现代的嬗变,并对湖南社会变迁也产生了一定影响。
Yale China Association regarded Changsha City in Hunan Province as the working base at the beginning of the 20th century. They launched medical and related cause in Changsha. It formed a medical system consisting of three levels： college of medicine, hospital and nurses＇ school. It played a significant role in the medical service exchange between China and America. It promoted the transmutation of medicine in Hunan from tradition to modern. And it caused some certain influence on social changes in Hunan.
