试析建立德、俄等语种专业术语库的迫切性与可行性

The Urgency and the Feasibility of Establishing Professional Termbase for German,Russian and Other Languages

简要分析了德、俄等语种按专业建立双语术语库的迫切性与可行性;指出专业工具书的短缺和滞后,严重制约了这些语种科技翻译总体水平的提高;呼吁尽快按专业建立股份合作式的商业性双语术语库,以便直接和国际先进翻译模式接轨。

From the perspective of scientific and technological translation,the article briefly dissertates the urgency and the feasibility of establishing professional termbase for German-Chinese, Russian-Chinese and other languages. It also points out that the shortage of reference books（dictionary） may restrick the improvement of translation in these languages. Therefore, in order to cooperate with international advanced translation model,setting up a bi-languages professional term repository for joint-stock cooperative translation business can be suggested.
