EARLY ORDOVICIAN CHITINOZOANS FROM THE FENGHSIANG AND HUNGHUAYUAN FORMATIONS IN CHENJIAHE OF YICHANG,HUBEI

系统介绍湖北宜昌陈家河剖面下奥陶统分乡组和红花园组的几丁虫分布发育特征,将分乡组和红花园组的几丁虫自下而上划分为Lagenochitina destombesi带和Euconochitina symmetrica带,阐述了几丁虫组合特征,并与国外同期几丁虫生物带进行了对比。

A detailed study and systematic bed-by-bed collection of the lower Ordovician chitinozoans from the Chenjiahe section in the Yiehang area, Hubei, China, suggest that two chitinozoan biozones, the Lagenochitina destornbesi Biozone and Euconochitina symmetrica Biozone, can be recognized in the Fenghsiang and Hunghuayuan Formations. The assemblage characteristics of the chitinozoans zones and the correlation with graptolite and conodont biozones and the equivalent chitinozoan biozones in other areas of the world are discussed.
