摘要
在基于灰度方差的指纹分割算法的基础上,本文针对低灰度等级占多数的低质量指纹图像,提出了一种改进的指纹图像分割算法.实验结果表明,相比于原来的基于灰度方差的指纹图像分割算法,我们改进的算法的分割效果更好,且具有较强的鲁棒性.
On the basis of the fingerprint image segmentation algorithm based on the gray variance, this paper presents an improved segmentation algorithm for the low quality fingerprint images which has much low gray degrees pixels. Experimental results show that the modified algorithm has higher segmentation performance than the original fingerprint image segmentation algorithm based on the gray variance, and the algorithm is robust.
