黔剧从流传于民间的说唱艺术,逐渐嬗变为具有鲜明地方特色和演出风格的地方戏曲剧种,并形成了其清丽委婉、善于抒情的戏剧抒情风格和贴近生活,又不失浪漫的表演特色。黔剧的保护和传承,不仅要注重戏曲艺术的发展规律,更要在坚持黔剧独立文化品格和审美价值的基础上,走出一条开拓创新的发展之路。

Qianju opera was gradually changed from a folk storytelling and singing art into a local opera genre with a per- forming style of distinctive local feature. It was formed into the performing characteristics of beautiful euphemism with dramatic lyrical style, close to life and without loss of ~manticism. As for the protection and inheritance of Qianju oper- a, not only should we pay attention to the law of development ~ but also we should explore a new path of development with innovation spirit of persisting in Qianju opera＇s independent cultural quality and aesthetic values.
