藏族生态伦理认为,人与大自然息息相关、相依相存,大自然为人类提供了生存的条件,大自然与人一样是有灵性的,善待大自然就是善待自己。在这种观念下,产生了对自然的敬畏和崇敬,这具体体现在对各种自然神灵的崇拜,而藏族装饰作为藏族文化艺术的重要组成部分以各种形式表现了这种藏族生态伦理的自然崇拜。

Tibetan ecological ethics believes that man is closely related to nature, nature provides survival conditions for man, nature has the same spirit as man does, and man being kind to nature is as nature to man himself. With such opin- ions, the Tibetan people adore nature in their awe of natural spirits, which is reflected in Tibetan adoration of all kinds of natural spirits. Tibetan decoration, as an important part of the Tibetan culture ~ shows the Tibetan ecological ethic nat- ural adoration in different ways.
