The paper analyzes the manners of metric-to-inch-system for joint studs （thread） intensity calculation and the reason why there is deviation on pound class converting in conditional inequation. It expounds the existing problems of the coefficient K＇ s value in API 600＇ s inequations when to do steel valve parameter nominal pressure＇ s calculation for steel valve in DIN system. It also discusses the different opinions on the definition of parameter ＇ PN＇ , coefficients＇ values and expressions of inequations in several Chinese National Standards. Finally it gives one of the possible proposals on simplifying and unifying the calculation way.
