翻译不仅是语言间的转换,更是两种文化间的交流。《红楼梦》译文片段可以看出,人物的社会地位与性格特征、民族文化心态及宗法社会文化等非语言语境对翻译的影响不容忽视。

Translation is not only the transfer of two languages but also the exchange between two cultures.By analyzing several pieces of translation from A Dream of Red Mansions,the author thinks that the same importance should be attached to non-linguistic contexts such as characters social roles and traits,the mentality of the nation,and patriarchal social culture.
