According to the analysis on the causes, advantages and disadvantages of the two residential forms of closed and mixed residential area, the author discusses the composite mixed dwelling pattern which is more suitable to Chinese national situation, and takes the Wanke Siji-huacheng as example displays its practical operation situation, so as to promote application of the composite mixed dwelling pattern.
