介绍了一种基于FPGA的前端图像采集卡的设计,充分利用FPGA的高性能实现了整个系统的逻辑控制。系统通过专用Camera link接口芯片获取CCD相机图像数据,通过PCI9054芯片和PCI总线通讯;以高速CMOS静态RAM作为图像帧存储器来暂存图像数据,解决了FPGA芯片与PCI总线之间的速率不同步的问题。
This article introduces a front-end image sampling system based on FPGA technology. The high performance of FPGA is fully taken to realize the logic control of this system. The system captures the image data produced by the CCD camera through a special camera link interface chip. It communicates with PCI local bus through PCI9054, stores the image data in its image frame buffer based on high-speed CMOS static RAM and then resolves the rate problem between the FPGA chip and PCI local bus.
