Cultivation and Management of Gingko for High Yields

Gingko is of famous and precious tree variety in China. It grows slowly and produces fruit late. Normally it takes 20 years for gingko to flower and bear fruit and its yield is at a low level. This article examines the biology property of gingko, its reproduction mode, cultivation and management, the trimming and shaping of gingko, and extermination of diseases and insect pests so as to increase gingko production and yields.
