摘要 与北美西部盆岭省相比,东北亚断陷盆地系是一独具特色的大陆裂陷作用区。该断陷盆地系发育于晚中生代期间,以巨大的规模、复杂的动力学背景和伴有一套大陆边缘扩张型火山岩组合为特征。东北亚断陷盆地系发育于宽裂陷作用背景之下,盆地拉伸率较低,但沉降较深,蕴藏有巨大的能源资源,是我国东部重要的煤和油气勘探领域。 Contrasted with the Basin and Range Province in Western North America,the fault basin system in Northeastern Asia is a unique intracontinental rifting area.This fault basin system was formed in Late Mesozoic and it is characterized by gigantic scale,complex geodynamic background and accompanying with the extensional volcanic assemblage of continental margin.The fault basin system in Northeastern Asia was developed under wide rifting setting,and extensional rate is lower than that of the Basin and Range Province in Western North America,but the subsidence was deeper,in which there are abundant energy resources,and it is an important coal,oil and gas prospecting and producing area in Eastern China.
