丧葬仪式作为人生仪礼的重要组成部分,是人类为了克服个体生命的短暂性与社会长久性之间的矛盾而进行的一种重要的社会活动和文化行为。布依族丧葬仪式蕴含了多重文化信息,表达了布依人信仰中两个世界的相对并存、相互通达以及生与死的转化等观念,它们共同构成了布依族民众自己所编织的"意义之网"。

As an important part of life ritual, funeral ritual is a vital social activity and cultural practice in order to overcome the contradiction between the transience of individual life and the social permanence. Buyi funeral ritual contains multi-cultural information, and expresses their conception in the coexistence of two worlds, and mutual access and conversion of life and death. They together constitute ＂the significance of the net＂ weaved by the Buyi masses themselves.
