摘要
一种高性能的铁磁流体密封系统,采用钕铁硼(NdFeB)永磁体作为磁场源,密封介质则使用北京航空航天大学研制的BH-1铁磁流体。实验结果表明,对于每边磁极靴上具有一道密封级的结构,可以提供120~180kPa的耐压能力;而每边具有两道密封级,则可以达到225~370kPa。并且实验预示这种系统的密封耐压能力还有进一步提高的潜力。
A ferrofluid sealing system of high pressure-resistant capacity is researched experimentally.A NdFeB permanent magnet is used to be a source of the magnetic field and the sealing medium is BH-1 ferrofluid made at BUAA.The experiments described in this paper show that the sealing system with a single stage on each side of the permanent magnet is able to resist 120~180kPa of pressure drop and with a double stage——225~370kPa.The experiments done by the authors predict that the sealing capacity of this system can be raised further.
