摘要
认为武汉市３５００年来能长盛不衰，是因为城市生态条件优越．在未来的发展过程中，具有农业、淡水、能源、“流”的汇聚和扩散、建设生态型城市等优越条件；应发挥优势，协调好人口、资源、环境与发展的关系，使武汉市可持续发展．
The paper considers that Wuhan city can remain prosperous and does not decline for 3 500 years, because it has favorable urban ecological conditions, and in the course of future development, it possesses many superior conditions in agriculture, fresh water, energy resources, the collection and spread of all kinds of flows, the construction of ecological type city ,and so on. The paper further points out that the city should exert its advantages, and coordinate the developmants relation with population, resources, environment for Wuhans sustainable development.
