摘要
将无卤固态芳香族磷酸酯(SDP)用于阻燃聚碳酸酯(PC),研究了其对PC阻燃性能、力学性能、热分解行为及灼烧残炭的影响。实验结果表明,SDP对PC有较高的阻燃效率,添加量为6%时,可使PC达UL94V-0级(1.6 mm),LOI近35%。此外,SDP能提高PC的拉伸强度、弯曲强度、拉伸模量、弯曲模量及添加量小于4%的断裂伸长率。热失重-红外联用(TG-IR)数据表明,SDP可提前并加速PC的交联成炭,但不能提高PC的成炭率。
Non-halogen solid aromatic phosphate(SDP) is a flame retardant with good heat resistance.It was synthesized recently in our laboratory.SDP was employed to flame retard polycarbonate(PC),and its effects on flame retardancy(including limited oxygen index(LOI) and UL94 flame retardant grades),mechanical properties(including tensile strength,tensile modulus,flexual strength,flexual modulus and elongation at break),thermal decomposition behavior of PC and char after burning were investigated.It shows from the experiments that after modified with SDP,the flame retardancy of PC increases significantly.With 6% of SDP introduced,PC reaches UL94 V-0 rating(1.6mm) and the LOI reaches nearly 35%.In addition,SDP improves tensile strength,tensile modulus,flexual strength, flexual modulus and elongation at break with a loading less than 4%.Thermogravimetry-infrared(TG-IR) data show that SDP accelerates crosslinking and char forming of PC and makes it happen ahead of schedule,but can not improve char yeild.
