摘要
从对I Chocolate You这一手机广告语的不同翻译入手,讨论英汉广告翻译的内涵,比较英汉广告的语言特征,提出译者在英汉广告翻译中应采取不同程度的归化和异化的动态统一策略。
The paper begins with the different translations of LG cell phone advertisement "I Chocolate You", discusses the connotation of advertisement translation and compares the linguistic features of English and Chinese advertisement. The authors come up with and prove the idea that translators should adopt the strategy of the dynamic unity of foreignization and domestication in English and Chinese adver tisement translation.
