摘要
大规模地形快速绘制技术一直是3维可视化研究的重要内容之一。大区域场景通常包含了丰富的地理信息,数据量巨大。因此,必须对复杂地形场景进行必要简化,以实现移动设备上大区域3维地形的快速绘制。针对移动设备的特点,提出了一种基于地形高度场的自适应四叉树多分辨率动态建模的方法表达3维场景,通过简化3维场景模型和动态加载场景数据的策略,提高大区域3维场景绘制的效率。
Terrain rendering is an important factor in representation of 3D visualization. If terrains are large and detailed, there will be huge amount of data, so it is necessary to reduce the complexity of the rendered scene in real-time on mobile device. Aim at the characteristic of mobile devices, a multi-resolution technique based on height fields was proposed to simplify the scenes and improve the speed of terrains rendering. The key of the technique ks to develop an adaptive LOD framework that can optimally feed the graphic pipeline.
