摘要
听觉通道在信息突变状态及视觉通道负荷过重等场合的信息传递中优于其他通道,因此信息可听化在解决视觉过载、多重显示和信息突发等方面具有重要意义。解析了听觉多维感知体系,讨论了可听化在地理信息表达中的关键特征,对地理信息可听化的应用现状及前景进行了分类探讨,最后通过降雨预报专题图的可听化表达加以实例说明。希望借此为地理信息多维表达提供新的研究思路。
Auditory modality precedes other sense modalities in the informational break character and the over loading of visual modality, etc. So it is of great importance to study sonifieation expression in order to settle the visual over-loading, multi-dimensional expression and information outburst. Acoustical multi-dimensional expression system was analyzed, and its sophisticated characters in geographical information expression was discussed, then the classification of sonification expression in current application and the prospect in geographical information application was explored. Finally, as an example, the application of sonification expression in thematic maps for rainfall forecast was introduced. Some ideas for the multi-dimensional expression in geographical information was provided.
