This paper introduced the development process, classification, technological advantages and working principle of the Triethylamine Ways cold-box process. The four common causes of defects, that were empty sand shot, sand shot dissatisfaction, run- ning sand and low strength, were analyzed emphatically, according which the solutions were provided.
