摘要
本文运用排队理论建立了铁路上海站ATM多媒体网络的(Md+MMPPv+MMPPvo)/D/1排队模型。针对该模型,本文提出一种能合成数据、话音和图像三种业务的数学近似分析法来研究多媒体管理子网业务流对上海站ATM主干网时延性能的影响并得到了信元平均排队时延的解析表达式。该分析法的主要优点是简化了分析过程,同时能在数值计算中节约大量计算机运算机时。计算机仿真验证了数学分析结果的正确性。最后,本文还提出一种优先级输入流控策略,以改善该ATM网络图像信元时延性能,仿真研究证实了该流控策略的实效性。该研究成果为上海站ATM多媒体网络建网提供理论依据,有较大实用参考价值。
This thesis establishes (Md+MMPPv+MMPPvo)/D/1 queueing model for ATM multimedia network of Shanghai Railway Station by using queueing theory. According to this model, We propose an approximate mathematical analytic method of integrating three kinds of traffic (data、voice and video) to research the effects of traffic of multimedia management subnet on timedelay performance of Shanghai Railway Station ATM backbone network and derives the formulas for cell mean queueing delay. The major advantages of this analytic method are simplicity and its decreased computing time in numerical calculation. The correctness of the mathematical analysis is verified by computer simulation. Finally, this thesis proposes a priority input traffic control strategy in order to improve video cell delay performance of the ATM network. The simulation research shows that this traffic control strategy is effective. The research results will provide theoretical basis for building the ATM network of Shanghai Railway Station and be of greater practical reference value.
