毛泽东在革命与建设的实践中提出的为人民谋福利的思想,对构建社会主义和谐社会仍具有重要的启示:构建和谐社会,要求我们党要"为民族与人民求福利";要坚持人民利益原则和以人为本的世界观,"给人民以看得见的物质福利";在"生产发展、繁荣经济"中谋求社会和谐;用统筹兼顾的方法和公平正义的原则,建立和谐的社会利益关系。

During the practice of revolution and construction,Mao Zedong put forward the idea of the welfare for the people. It has important enlightenments for building a harmonious society. Building a harmonious society is required that we must seek welfare for the nation and the people;that we should hold on the principles of people＇s interests and the people-oriented,and give the people the visible material well-being;that pursue social harmony based on the production development and economic prosperity ;that build harmonious social interests relations according to integrated approach and the principles of fairness and justice.
