New mechanism of folic acid to decrease the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease

摘要 叶酸是同型半胱氨酸代谢中的重要辅助因子,参与叶酸代谢的酶的活性降低是引起高同型半胱氨酸血症的最主要的因素。高同型半胱氨酸血症是心脑血管病的危险因素之一,降低同型半胱氨酸,就能有效地减少心脑血管病风险。叶酸还通过其他机制保护心脑血管。 In metabolism of homocysteine, folio acid is an important eofactor. That decreased enzyme activity is the main agent of causing hyperhomocysteine. Hyperhomocysteine is one of the risk factors of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease, lower homocysteine can effectivelly decrease the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular event. Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular system may be protected by folic acid with other mechanisms.
