摘要
The development of academic research is channelled by academic journals in two ways, one by gaining credentials through publishing within both the academic circle and the public and the other by shaping the course of this development. Academic journals, which can be regarded as the end of the academic production chain, are equally the core of academic assessment. Therefore, in their interface with academic researchers, they will become capable of having a strong influence on shaping the orientation, interest, and pathway of individual researchers, as well as by affecting the whole course of the development of social science in general. To this extent, academic journals play an indispensable role in channelling the internationalisation of Chinese social science.
