Effect of C-Peptide on Diabetic Neuropathy

摘要 一系列关于C-肽的体外实验、1型糖尿病动物模型、亚临床试验证实C-肽具有维持、改善外周神经和自主神经功能的作用。C-肽的作用机制与调节神经细胞微循环、激活Na+-K+-ATP酶、刺激神经营养因子的表达相关。综合目前的研究结果,可以认为C-肽是一种具有重要生理功能的生物活性肽,具有一定的临床药用价值。 Recent results indicate that C-peptide exerts important physiological effects and shows the characteristics of a bioactive peptide. Studies about in vitro cellular effects as well as type 1 diabetic animal models and patients, demonstrate that C-peptid has the ability to improve the peripheral nerve and autonomic nerve function. And the mechanisms of the action are related to the ability of C-peptide to correct diabetes-induced reductions in endoneurial blood flow and in Na^+- K^+-ATPase activity and modulation of neurotrophic factors. Combining the results demonstrates that C- peptide may be a possible new treatment for neuropathy in type 1 diabetes.
