The research, application and development of the bamboo - based panel have become one of the most important indicators of the level of advancement in the national timber industry. In this paper, the current situation of the exploitation and utilization of bamboo materials and bamboo - based panels in our country were introduced and, at last, a prospect on its future development was also provided.
