摘要
《钱:自杀者的绝命书》中的金钱主题是显而易见的,学界对此早有研究与论述。而关于这部小说的欲望主题,学界至今尚无专文探讨。本文认为,《钱》之所以被苛刻的英美批评界看成是一部杰作,其原因不仅仅在于它对"万恶之源"的金钱的批判与抨击,而且也在于它建构了一个以消费主义文化为核心的后现代诗学空间,一个在主题内涵与艺术风格上具有狂欢化特征的欲望叙事。本文试图从欲望都市、欲望狂欢与欲望叙事三个层面,来探讨这部小说的后现代诗学空间、欲望主题、狂欢化艺术风格以及后现代道德内涵。
Money： A Suicide Note, one of Martin Amis＇ s representative works, has an obvious theme, money, which has been well studied, while almost no scholar has developed an in-depth analysis of another significant theme in it, metropolitan desire. It is the purpose of this essay to discuss it in terms of spatial poetics, carnivalization and narrative techniques.
