Establishment of finite element model about impact of human head for injury simulation

摘要 根据人体头部的螺旋CT医学影像,利用图像边界分割、各层图像之间的影像配准以及三维重建技术建立了头部几何模型,然后运用NURBS曲面片的构造算法将三角面片转换为四边形面片,最后利用TrueGrid软件对颅脑几何模型进行网格划分,同时进行适当的网格修补,从而建立了人体头部有限元模型。根据碰撞过程中的能量守恒,验证了模型的可靠性。本模型可用于汽车交通事故中头部损伤的生物力学研究以及为开发相应的汽车安全防护装置提供理论依据。 According to the spiral CT image of the human head, the geometric model is established by using the image boundary segmentation, images registration and three dimensional reconstruction technique. Then triangle sheet is converted to quadrilateral sheet by using NURBS sheet construction method. Finally the human head finite element model is established by applying the Tru- eGrid software to divide the geometric model of the skull and repair the mesh appropriately. According to conversation of energy in the process of impact, the reliability of the model is verified. This model can be applied to the head injury biomechanic research in traffic accidents, and provide a theoretical basis accordingly in the development of appropriate protective devices about automobile safety.
