浅析后现代语境下的多元文化主义——从亨廷顿《文明的冲突》谈起

A Brief Analysis of Multiculturalism on the Context of Postmodernism——from "The Clash of Civilization"

二十世纪最后几十年是一个文化激荡的时期。伴随着经济和政治冲突的"全球变暖"趋势,不同文化间的交流也愈发夺目。文章通过对美国学者赛缪尔.亨廷顿的论文《文明的冲突》的回应,论证了在后现代主义的今天,东西方文化关系的主流是对话而非对峙,因而赋予多元文化主义以合理性价值。

It＇s a period of culture stirn in the last decades of last century. Accompanied by the ＂global warming＂ of the economic and political disputes, the communion among different cultures is more marked. By responding to the US scholar Samuel Huntington＇ s paper---The Clash of Civilization, this paper argues that in these postmodernism days, the mainstream of the relation between the East and the West is not confrontation but collaboration, thus, granting rationality to multiculturalism.
