On Autobiography

自传的叙述对象就是自我的历史,作者通过自传写作以反思历史,反省人生,解剖自己,为过错而忏悔。作者可以在自传中为自己的某些行为和做法作辩护,以便读者理解自己。有些作者在自传中大肆炫耀自己的辉煌成就和业绩,进而美化自己,显得比较浅薄;有的作者回避自己灰暗的历史,缺乏面对历史的勇气,从而阻断了灵魂救赎的途径。

An autobiography author deals with his own history,so that the author reflects his history,his life and repents his wrongdoings.He can justify himself to the readers,without boasting his achievements to glorify himself.While some others shun his grey part of history,lacking the courage to confront it,thus hampers the way for self salvation.
