中西方电视情景喜剧言语幽默的修辞对比研究——以《老友记》和《家有儿女》为例

A Contrastive Study of Rhetorical Strategies in Chinese and Western Sitcom Verbal Humor in Friends and Jia You Er Nv

从修辞学角度出发,选取美国著名情景喜剧《老友记》和中国著名情景喜剧《家有儿女》的剧集对白作为幽默语料,对其中言语幽默的修辞策略进行分析对比。结果发现,由于中英两种语言表达方式和表现方式上存在明显的差别,再加上一些社会因素的影响,这两种语言在使用修辞手法制造言语幽默的时候,使用的策略既有相同也有不同的地方。比喻修辞手法是两部剧中使用最频繁的修辞手法,而其他的修辞手法的使用率则表现出较大的不同。

This paper identifies and expotinds in terms of Rhetoric rhetorical strategies in notes of two purposely selected verbal humor scripts from Friends and Jia YouEr Nv. It is found that the rhetorical strategies used by the two languages in order to create verbal humor in sitcoins share something in common and differ a lot due to the basic differences of the two languages and some social factors. Metaphor is the frequently used way in both the two sitcoms; while the frequencies of other rhetorical devices are different.
