Cultivating New Farmers’ Competence and Developing Vocational Education Approach

培养有文化、懂技术、会经营的新型农民,是新农村建设的重要目标。目前,我国农民的整体素质与建设社会主义新农村尚有不小的差距。要培育和造就新型农民、加强职业教育,必须开展农村文化建设、劳动力职业技能培训,加强经营素质培训,培养农民的创业精神,更新农村职业教育发展的观念,积极推进农民的现代化进程。

We need to create a new type of farmer who has a good basic education and understands both agricultural techniques and business operations. At present, there is a big gap between farmer＇s overall quality and new socialist countryside. The construction of new socialist rural area should keep to the cultural living principles and make life culture, skills training and management predominate the whole construction of new cultural rural area.
