《诗经》写到"裘"的诗歌共有9篇,《诗经》中的这些"裘"既是蔽体、保暖之衣,又是身份、地位之象征,还是文化人格之体现。以裘为衣是对上古衣皮风俗的继承;裘为身份、地位之象征,其成因则可追溯到图腾崇拜;羔羊比德,"羔裘豹饰",则是一种刚柔相济的文化人格的体现。
