The challenges of higher education are analyzed. The importance of creative talents training in chemistry specialty is discussed in the following areas： chemistry specialty-running ideas, specialty characteristics and orientation, the construction of a teaching team, curriculum system construction, teaching methods renewal,college students innovative experiments and graduation thesis. The practicing experience of the above-mentioned aspects is introduced.
