The paper summarizes the existing concept of ecotourism and divides it into six theories,i.e.,＂theory of protection as its center＂,＂theory of benefits to inhabitants＂,＂theory of return to nature＂,＂theory of responsibility＂,＂theory of primitive wilderness＂ and ＂theory of environment resources＂.The paper makes an in-depth analysis of these theories respectively and finds out that the ＂theory of environment resources＂ is scientific and rational.
