THE FRAME RELAY AND THE ASYNCHRONOUS TRANSFER MODE TECHNOLOGY

文章简述从分组交换、帧中继（ＦＲ）到异步转移模式（ＡＴＭ）技术。由于ＡＴＭ实时性好，时延短，因此适用于电力系统通信。

This paper briefly describes the technologies of the Packet Exchange (PE), the Frame Relay (FR) and the Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM). With the nature of a good real time characteristic and the small time delay of the ATM technology, it is believed that the ATM technology is applicable to the communications for power systems.
