A Comparison of Attitude toward Marriage between Charlotte Bronte and Zhang Ailing in their Works

夏洛蒂.勃朗特与张爱玲是近现代中西方文学史上出现的杰出女作家。本文旨在通过对她们不同的人生经历及其代表性作品中所体现出的恋爱观的比较和分析,从女性意识、不同的人生态度等几个方面来揭示出她们婚姻观的异同。

Zhang ailing and Charlotte Bronte are outstanding women writers in the history of modern Chinese and western literature. This article aims at disclosing the similarities and the differences of their attitudes toward marriage by comparing their different life experiences and attitudes toward life and analyzing their attitudes toward love reflected in their works.
