Irrational industry structure is the important factor of hindering the development of Jilin Province and the core problem is to make clear the leading industry. Jilin province should select the industry suitable for its resource endowment as its leading industries according to the rule of comparative advantage. Through theoretical and empirical analysis of Selection standard and its corresponding data of leading industries, Jilin province should select automobile industry, pharmaceutical production and agricultural product processing industry as its leading industries.
